Knowledge of cosmetic packaging materials - Tubes
Overview

Common materials for tubes: aluminum-plastic tubes, PE extruded tubes, all-plastic composite tubes, and high-gloss composite tubes.
Aluminum-plastic tube: A composite pipe with pure aluminum as the barrier material.
PE extruded tube: two-layer co-extruded tube,five-layer co-extruded tube.
All-plastic composite tube: It is divided into single-layer and multi-layer (2-7 layers),depending on the material, it has different barrier properties. The barrier layer is generally EVOH, and the surface printing effect dot is better than that of PE plastic tube.
High-gloss composite pipe: Generally, it refers to high-gloss sheet composite pipe with an aluminum-coated layer as the barrier material, followed by laser-effect sheet composite pipe with laser film and cat eye film as the middle layer.

Category
According to the production process, they can be roughly divided into two categories: sheet tubes (composite tubes) and extruded tubes.
Sheet tubes: aluminum-plastic tubes, all-plastic composite tubes, high-gloss composite tubes.
Extruded tube: PE extruded tube.
By shape: round tubes, oval tubes, flat tubes, and ultra-flat tubes By color: colored tubes, transparent tubes, frosted tubes, pearlescent tubes.
Let’s talk about PE tubes.
Tube body structure
Extrusion pipe
Single-layer extrusion: PE (medium and low grades)
Two-layer co-extrusion: HDPE/LDPE (commonly used)
Five-layer co-extrusion: PE/ADMER/EVOH/ADMER/PE (five-layer pipe drawing machine)
Brief description of the production process
Extrusion tube: tube drawing - tube cutting - head injection - offset printing - varnishing - hot stamping - hole drilling - sealing tape - cap locking
