Basic Product Knowledge of Plastic Tube
In recent years, the application fields of plastic cosmetic tube packaging have gradually expanded. Industrial products have chosen squeeze tube packaging, such as lubricating oil, glass glue, and caulking compound; food products have chosen squeeze tube packaging, such as mustard and chili sauce; and pharmaceutical ointments have chosen tubes. Toothpaste squeeze tube packaging is also constantly upgrading. More and more products in different fields are using "tubes" for packaging. In the plastic cosmetic tube industry, tubes are favored for their easy squeezing and use, light weight and portability, customizable specifications, and customizable printing. They are widely used in packaging for cosmetics, daily-use products, and hair care products.
Aluminum-plastic composite plastic cosmetic tubes are packaging containers made from aluminum foil and plastic film through co-extrusion and other processes to form sheets, which are then processed into tube shapes by specialized tube-making machines. Their typical structure is PE/PE+EAA/AL/PE+EAA/PE. Aluminum-plastic composite plastic cosmetic tubes are mainly used for packaging cosmetics with high requirements for hygiene and barrier properties. The barrier layer is usually aluminum foil, and its barrier property depends on the pinhole degree of the aluminum foil. With the continuous improvement of technology, the thickness of the aluminum foil barrier layer in aluminum-plastic composite tubes has been reduced from the traditional 40μm to 12μm or even 9μm, greatly saving resources.
Plastic PE cosmetic tubes are made by co-extruding different performance and type raw materials together in one step. Plastic co-extruded plastic cosmetic tubes are divided into single-layer extruded tubes and multi-layer co-extruded tubes. The former is mainly used for packaging fast-consumed cosmetics with high appearance requirements but low actual performance requirements (such as hand cream, etc.), while the latter is mainly used for packaging high-end cosmetics.
All-plastic composite plastic cosmetic tubes are made by co-extruding different performance and type raw materials together in one step. Plastic co-extruded tubes are divided into single-layer extruded tubes and multi-layer co-extruded tubes. The former is mainly used for packaging fast-consumed cosmetics with high appearance requirements but low actual performance requirements (such as hand cream, etc.), while the latter is mainly used for packaging high-end cosmetics.
Tubes are squeeze tube packaging containers made from materials such as PE plastic, aluminum foil, and plastic film through co-extrusion and other processes to form sheets, which are then processed into tube shapes by specialized tube-making machines. Tubes have the advantages of light weight, portability, durability, recyclability, easy squeezing, and good processing and printing adaptability, making them popular among many cosmetics manufacturers.
